The Bay Colony Railroads headquarters and "yard"
This is the closest the BCLR has to what you could call a yard. Two unused sidings for Colonial Beverage on the left are sometimes used for car storage. The centerbeam flat is parked on the main, which continues west past this point to Mid City scrap in Westport. On the right, BCLR 1705 can be seen parked on the Dartmouth Building Supply siding. DBS receives centerbeam flats with lumber, but they are unloaded on the section of track between Reed Rd and Old Reed Rd, behind where this photo is taken. DBS and Mid City scrap are the only two regular customers left on the BCLR. This photo is taken looking West from Old Reed Rd.
